Mi chiamo Maria Garraffa e sono nata a Erice , in provincia di Trapani il 25 settembre 1977.
Sono laureata in Scienze della Comunicazione (vecchio ordinamento) con una tesi in Linguistica generale (“Linguistica e deficit grammaticale: studio di un caso”). Ho una laurea Specialistica in Linguistica e adesso sono Dottoranda in Scienze cognitive presso l’Università di Siena.

Ho trascorso un periodo di studio presso l’ Università Aristotelus di Salonicco.
Ho fatto un tirocinio formativo presso l’ospedale Agostino Gemelli e presso l’ I.R.S.S.T. Santa Lucia sotto la supervisione del Prof. Gabriele Miceli.
Mi occupo di produzioni afasiche e dell’interazione tra gli studi di sintassi formale e la neurolinguistica.

My name is Maria Garraffa, I was born in Erice , a little sicilian village near Trapani.
My degree is in Sciences of Communication with a thesis in Neurolinguistic on aphasic production
( “Linguistics and Grammatical disorders: a case study ” supervisor Prof.Luigi Rizzi and Prof. Gabriele Miceli ).
I spent a period of study in Greece ( Aristotelus University , Thessaloniki) and three month in Rome at the Hospital Agostino Gemelli and I.R.S.S.T. Santa Lucia.
I attended an MA in Linguistics and now I am a Phd student in Cognitive Science.
I am interested in language pathologies and in the interaction between formal syntax and neutolinguistic.
